The Department of Prosthodontics is concerned with providing distinguished education and training in the fields of fixed and removable prosthodontics. It aims to prepare scientifically and clinically qualified dentists capable of meeting community needs by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application within an advanced educational environment.

Vision:
To achieve academic and research excellence in the field of prosthodontics and to contribute to the development of evidence-based dental treatment services.

The department is responsible for teaching and training students in fixed and removable prosthodontics, including crowns, bridges, complete and partial dentures, with an emphasis on clinically applied education based on up-to-date scientific principles.

The Department of Prosthodontics is keen on training students in the latest advancements in dental technology and integrating contemporary techniques into education and practical training. This includes digital impression taking and modern methods for the design and fabrication of dental restorations, in line with technological developments in dentistry and to enhance students’ clinical and practical competence.
